Hey! I saw a tab for this song already on here, and it sounds just fine. But
I think this way is a little easier to play and still sounds pretty good.
Capo 2*
A cool way to play it is palm mute, or just strum fast and downward every time,
for both of the verses and for the first time through the bridge. Then pick back
p to normal for the prechorus and chorus. I heard it done this way once and it
sounds cool.
Verse 1:
G D Em CBlessed be your name, in the land that is plentiful.
G DWhere streams of abundance flow.
CBlessed be your name.
G D Em CBlessed be your name, when I'm found in this desert place.
G DThough I walk through the wilderness.
CBlessed be your name.
Pre-chorus:
G DEvery blessing you pour out I
Em CTurn back to praise.
G DAnd when the darkness closes in Lord,
Em DStill I will say...
Chorus:
G DBlessed be the name of the Lord.
Em CBlessed be your name.
G DBlessed be the name of the Lord,
Em CBlessed be your glorious name.
Verse: 2
G D Em CBlessed be your name, when the sun's shining down on me.
G DWhen the world is all as it should be,
CBlessed be your name.
G D Em CBlessed be your name, on the road marked with suffering,
G DThough there is pain in the offering,
CBlessed be your name.
Chorus
Bridge: (x2)
G DYou give and take away
Em DYou give and take away
G DMy heart will choose to say
G CLord, blessed be your name.
