User Rating: What It Is, How It's Earned, and What It Affects
Basic use of the site, like adding songs, editing them, and commenting, doesn't require a rating.
However, the higher your rating, the more additional features you unlock.
To earn a rating, you'll need an account to perform actions on the site.
You earn rating points for each of your published contributions.
Each action on the site is worth a certain number of rating points.
Actions that affect your rating:
| Adding a song | +1 or more * |
| Adding a video or GTP to a song | +0.3 |
| Editing a song | +0.05 |
| Editing an artist | +0.05 |
| Adding an artist photo | +0.04 |
| Applying correction in a song suggested by other users | +0.02 |
* The number of views and likes determines the amount of rating points.
Rating points are credited to your account after your contribution has been successfully moderated.
Since a song's popularity affects the points awarded, your rating in your profile might update with a slight delay, not in real-time.
